Sitting on my bed at this hour (2.14am) while listening to oldies song (Bobby Vinton- I Love How You Love Me) makes me feel so nostalgic. Feels like im leaving in the 50's. I can't help but to wonder about the differences in man at that time and now. I'm not saying that the man now is no good. but i'm saying that in that old days, man are more of a gentleman then now. How when you love someone so much you will fight for them with all you got.
However, if u think back, that year of our parents was born, those time were the time where arrange marriage are something that is a common thing to do. Maybe thats why at that time people are really fighting for their love. There is a saying that people will want what they cannot have. Maybe in this case it applies. But look at us now, we casually said 'I LOVE YOU' simply to people that we don't really know weather or not we are going to be with them till the end. Whats more sad is when people who wants to find a partner just for the sake of playing their hearts. Well this is my shout out to those people, if you are being with a person for the sake of breaking their hearts, then you are gonna face a bigger heart break then that person that you just break his/her heart.
Gosh..listening oldies in this wee~ hour really mess your head up..well got to go now...i'm gonna need some rest now...

ReplyDeleteanyway some song were sang because of many reasons but the song may reflect to what we think and we feel.. So is to good to know and have a song that can express what we feel and think so that we just have to listen and know what it feels as it already help us to interpret our thoughts..
i listen to this song (bobby v.- I love how u love me) once from my cousin and it was soothing in a way..
plus, i do agree in some sense that most youngster or people this day don't really meant when they said the 3 words.. maybe because they just wanna say it to sounds like they want people to feel good.. or just maybe because they are influence by the medis.. heck.. what gotten into these people.. hahaha
who am i to say it.. maybe im just being inconsiderable..haha
Maybe at that time, at that moment I was recalling something or somebody but I couldn't remember what it is..haha and i do agree that sometimes, we listen or pick a song to express what we are thinking or feeling. I have a lot of encounters with this kinda stuff were the songs are actually speaking what is in my mind and heart.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing is, this song by bobby v. is introduce by a very closed and very near to my heart friend and I fell in love with this song almost immediately because of its wording and melody.
When it comes to the 3 words that youngster say it this days, they did it because maybe they wanted attention from the other gender or just to say it so the other gander will do as his/her asked them to do in the name of love which I find it very sad. For me, the word love itself is unconditional and its too big and to limitless to be define and every person have its own definition of love. It is a matter of do we see it as he/she sees it or not.
